Shimmy Stauber
Shimmy Stauber is a Gold Coast-based psychotherapist and counsellor specialising in youth and family counselling.
With a Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Secondary Education, and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced), Shimmy’s expertise lie in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
Shimmy background as a secondary teacher and Dean of Students, enables him to build exceptional rapport with teens and support individuals both within and outside of school environments.
Shimmy works closely with families, equipping them with practical tools to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier relationships.
